Below is a collection of various environmental graphics I have designed. These are graphics or artwork that exist in the built environment of a brand and add to the overall experience, in most cases through brand storytelling.
MAIN EVENT: BETTER TOGETHER BOWLING WALL GRAPHICS
Main Event came to Harrison. to propose a broad "pantry" of creative and affordable ways to enrich the experience at Main Event and provide a better connection between the brand's mission and values and the in-center experience. One of Main Event's core values is sharing good times together, whether it be with family or a group of friends.
MAIN EVENT: HIDDEN BOWTIE BOWLING WALL GRAPHICS
Another bowling wall graphic option presented to Main Event was this "Hidden Bowtie" design. This simple, yet impactful design subtly depicts the Main Event bowtie (what they call the silhouette of their logo). It's a fun and dynamic pattern, but as bowlers look at it they'll discover the nod to the logo. This addresses another one of Main Event's requests, which was to integrate the Main Event brand into the built environment more without just putting the logo everywhere.
MAIN EVENT: ENTRY WALL GRAPHICS
In addition to the walls of the bowling alley, we were tasked with designing a fun and impactful wall graphic solutions for the space over the entrance doors.
1022 SOCIAL: SHARING IS CARING GHOST SIGN
I got to design a wall graphic for 1022 Social in Panama City, Florida, a casual dining restaurant and bar catering to groups with a very sharable menu. Inspired by ghost signs, which are faded hand-painted advertisements or branding on buildings from many years ago, this graphic is designed to appear weathered and aged.
RED ROBIN: ENTRY WALL GRAPHIC
Red Robin came to Harrison for an updated prototype design concept. With this new concept, we reimagined some of the brand's graphics and artwork. This particular site allowed for a large-scale mural/graphic to be designed for the waiting area. The current Red Robin prototype had a collage similar to the one below using many of the same elements, but our team felt it was disconnected, and the execution could be refined. There are a couple of LED neon pieces layered onto the graphic.
FIRST WATCH: EXTERIOR MURAL
As a part of Harrison.'s interior and exterior refresh project for First Watch, I got to design an exterior mural for when the site allows for it. The core idea behind this project was to depict the optimism and beauty of mornings while also showing the freshness of First Watch.
EDDIE V'S: LOBBY FLOOR INLAY
As part of Harrison.'s prototype design work for fine-dining seafood and steak client Eddie V's, I got to design this completely custom floor inlay. The geometry of this design, and many other choices made in the prototype, is inspired by gemstones to convey the opulent and grandiose experience at Eddie V's.
Below are a couple of large environmental graphics I designed for Swig as a part of a new prototype proposal. The first design is an illustration showcasing the location of that particular location. Overland Park, Kansas was chosen randomly to show design intent, but each location would have their own unique illustration in this spot on the building. See more about this project here!
The second graphic below, on the other side of the building, is a soda inspired design that gives the building a sense of movement and direction. The gradient and mixture of colors is a nod to Swig's iconic "Dirty Sodas". Lights were added to the bubbles to make it 'pop' at night.
